Complimentary coffee and pastries will be offered in the bar from 7:30 - 9:00 am. Brunch will be the only dining option between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm.
The 1886 Tried and True Bar Menu will be available after 3:00 pm. Reservations are in hour and a half increments due to the high-demand from the membership to participate in the Opening Day Brunch. The bar will close at 7:00 pm.
$40.00++/Adults, $20.00++ 7-12, Children 6 and Under with our compliments.
72-Hour, 100% Cancellation Policy in Effect. Parties that show with fewer than their reservation will be charged. RSVPs are required.

Yacht lnspection - Members requesting inspection should review the "Requirements and Recommendations" document for inspected vessels. Register online for inspection, and please include a short boat bio for the Program. Inspected vessels must be open for Hospitality on Sunday after the ceremony. The Inspection Committee will put you in the correct category.
Junior Yacht Inspections will take place Sunday morning at 0900.
Yacht Hospitality - "A Time Honored Tradition..." Yacht owners welcome members and friends aboard their vessels after the Opening Day Ceremony for camaraderie and good cheer. SDYC will provide Hospitality bags with snacks and beverages to refresh your guests. All yachts entered in Hospitality will receive a penant indicating their participation. Your vessel name, boat bio and location will be listed in the Opening Day program. lf you do not have a slip at the Club and would like to participate in Hospitality, call the Dockmaster at 619-758-6308 or dockmaster@sdyc.org for a temporary slip.
SDYC yacht owners are requested to dress ship for Opening Day. To qualify, each sailboat will display nautical signal flags the entire length of the fore and aft stays. Power boats will display flags from stem to stern. If desired, boat owners may properly display the Ensign (Flag of the United States) and the SDYC burgee, but this will not be part of the scoring. Properly Dressed Yachts on each dock will be counted at 9:00 AM Sunday morning. The coveted "Best Dressed Dock" award will be announced during the ceremony. The winning Dock(s) will receive a SDYC Dock Cart loaded with non-alcoholic hydration.
