OPEN DISTANCE SERIES: 4:00 pm FRIDAY SEPT 22, OCT 6, 13, 20, 27, 2023
Entries will be limited to 10 teams per night. Skipper entries open to J/22 fleet members only.
CANCELLATIONS: Need to cancel or change your entry? Email both jim@californiaaquatics.com & juliemitchell@hotmail.com.
If sent before Wednesday at noon, you will not be scored disqualified not excusable (DNE)
FORMAT
Casual racing starting at 4:00 pm.
The course will be decided prior to racing based on the wind for the day. Courses will generally consist of starting and finishing in La Playa and racing around one or more channel markers. Limited race committee, 3-minute starting sequence, no protests, sail fair, have fun!
Boats will leave and return to I Dock. Boat numbers will be assigned, please check the results spreadsheet prior to racing. Please register for each night of racing to reserve a boat.
Each week, scoring based on low point system. Overall series scoring will be based on high point percentage with 1 throw-out and 3 races needed to be scored for the series.
