Beneteau Owners: Come join the fun at Benteau Cup! Separate races for cruising class and First Series boats. All skill levels welcome, from novice on up. Basic racing and sail trim class Friday night. We help find experienced coaches for novices and first-time racers. Then, 2 days of fun racing at SDYC. Saturday night party, live music, overnight berths/slips available. Sure to be the largest gathering of Beneteau boats and people in SoCal. Family-friendly, and FUN.
Just a heads up for the Saturday Beneteau Cup - there is a triathlon crossing Pt. Loma that morning so you may want to budget a little extra time if you're headed to SDYC.
Saturday is the Moment Cycle Triathlon. It will have a bike course crossing Rosecrans just before Canon Street and paralleling the bay on Scott Street. South of Ave de Portugal bikes will be going out to the point (one way), but north of that, it will be two-way traffic as bikes return from the Point down Canon, zig-zag at Locust and head north on Scott…It might be wise to budget an extra 15/20 min to get to SDYC Saturday. Busy time on the bike portion will be about 7 – 9 am.
