Don’t miss this unique opportunity to get both on-the-water and classroom coaching from some of the top names in sailing! Dave Ullman and his team of coaches will lead short-course racing and practice starts on the Coronado Roads, running as many races as time allows. After sailing, participants will gather at SDYC for an in-depth debrief and discussion.
This event gives all teams access to the same high-level coaching normally reserved for private clients. By training in real racing conditions, teams will receive feedback and coaching on every aspect of performance — including starts, boat speed, tactics, and wind and course management. Following racing, top teams and coaches will share their best practices for tuning, strategy, and tactics during the group debrief.
There’s no entry fee, no scoring, and it’s not part of the Fleet 13 High Point Series. Vakaros Race Sense will not be used for starts, though teams may use their units for all other functions. Standard racing rules will apply.
The emphasis is on skill-building, learning, and sharing knowledge — all in a fun, low-pressure format designed for everyone to enjoy.
