What naturally comes to mind when you think about the whole family being back home for the holidays? Clearing out of the house and spending the day at the Club, racing - of course! Join us to catch up with family and friends dockside for this fun one-day event and be back home in time for dinner.
If your family is new to SDYC or sailing, this no-pressure regatta is a great way to share your holiday spirit with them and your SDYC family.
BOATS
Five J/22s will be tied up to I Dock and should be returned there after racing
SCHEDULE
1100 Sailors Meeting on Sail Wash Lawn
Boat Rigging after Sailors Meeting
Racing at 1130 to mid-afternoon
RACING
Team Rotation will be available prior to race day
Five teams will race at a time
No Boat Rotation, just jump into any boat when your teams turn is up
Start / Finish line parallel with Race Dock
Course 1 up / down / up to finish. Encouraging use of yellow gov't buoys.
