This clinic will provide racing practice for the teams planning to attend spring regattas in the 29er. Along with registering for the clinic, teams should register to race in the Luff-in on Sunday where 29ers will race in the ocean as a “clinigatta.”

For sailors with a 29er:
You may register with a teammate or you can register solo and be paired with a teammate by the coaches.
For sailors needing use of an HPYS loaner boat:
You must register for the clinic individually but can put on the registration form if you have a preferred teammate. All these applications will be initially listed as “pending" to give the organizers time to ensure sufficient loaner boats and coaches. We may not be able to admit every applicant and will let sailors know if they have been accepted as soon as possible after the application deadline.
Clinic cost is $200/sailor. Late fee of $50 after February 1st, 5:00 PM. Additional fee of $75/sailor for use of an HPYS loaner boat plus damage deposit.
Damage Deposit for teams using an HPYS loaner boat: any SDYC member who pays by club charge, we reserve the right to charge your member account a one-time fee of up to $250 for boat damage. For those paying by credit card, we reserve the right to re-charge your card a one-time fee of up to $250 for boat damage.
Safety: It is recommended that sailors wear a wetsuit and booties. Crews should have properly fitting trapeze harnesses. All sailors will need to wear a rash guard or pinnie over their trapeze harness and lifejacket to ensure that buckles are covered. A Fox40 whistle must be attached to your lifejacket.
