Goal: Improve Boat-speed, Boat-handling, Starting Skills and Tactics
Coach: Steve Hunt is a 3x World Champion sailor and the most successful scholastic coach in the country with 11 National Championships. After spending 7 years on the US Sailing Team campaigning the 470, Steve started racing sailboats professionally and coaching Point Loma High School in 2006.
When not racing, coaching or spending time with his family, Steve is a contributing editor to Sailing World magazine and recently presented a series of instructional presentations to the US Sailing Team on starting and tactics. Over the past year Steve has been coaching C420s full time and is very excited to help you improve your game during this clinic.
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday: 10AM-5PM plus a pre- and post-clinic zoom debrief.
Entry Fee: $125/Sailor ($25 discount for SDYC members). $75 for Sunday only.

Boats: Sailors must make their own arrangements for C420s to use.
Venue: We will be sailing from SDYC out to the ocean off Point Loma.
Gear: Be prepared to be on the water sailing for 4 to 5 hours each day. Bring appropriate gear, dry bags with extra gear and plenty of quick, healthy snacks and drinks to keep you going!
Additional Information: Sailors must respect social distance guidelines and masks must be worn at all times when not on the water.
