GOAL: Laser Radial Training Camp
COACH: Chris Barnard has been a member of the US Sailing Team for the past eight years, competing and winning at the highest level in the international laser class including the Gold Medal in 2019 at the Trofeo Princesa Sofia regatta against a 187-boat laser fleet. Chris grew up sailing sabots in Newport Beach and attended Georgetown University where he led his team to a Co-Ed National Championship, received three Collegiate All-American honors, and was the 2012 Collegiate Sailor of the Year. Chris has recently been coaching the next generation of youth laser talent for US Sailing’s Olympic Development Program.
ENTRY FEE: $60/sailor until March 1 (SDYC member charge discount of $10). Late entry fee of $75/sailor.
SCHEDULE: Saturday: 10AM – 5PM plus a pre- and post-clinic zoom debrief.

GEAR: Be prepared to be on the water sailing for 4 to 5 hours. Bring appropriate gear, dry bags with extra gear, and plenty of quick, healthy snacks to keep you going!
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Sailors must respect social distance guidelines and masks must be worn at all times when not on the water. On Sunday, there is a Winter Series Laser event at Coronado Yacht Club (https://theclubspot.com/regatta/Z0ZmdHJQWj).
