Dear Sabot Sailors and Supporters,

I am sorry to announce that the INSA Junior Sabot National Championship has been cancelled for 2020. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic and the wide ranging challenges posed to competitors, hosts, coaches, parents, and travelers, the Board of Directors voted sadly, but unanimously, to not hold the event this year.

Similarly, but with some good news, the Sabot II North and South Championships will be held as scheduled, and the two winners will be our Sabot II Champions for the year. The Sabot II Invitational will unfortunately not be sailed.

It's disappointing for us to need to take these steps, but our organization is strong, and as a regionally oriented single handed class, we are also well arranged to weather these conditions better than many other classes, or recreations. Let's all stay safe and keep doing all the local sailing we can, including the excellent all-ages racing that's been popping up!
