Welcome to Spinn Class, a casual day of introducing yourself to flying a spinnaker and getting better at it. If you have registered as a team, you will get pointers from a powerboat as you sail a course or participate in drills. If you are registering solo, expect to be teamed up with other solo participants and to rotate through all positions on the boat. Throughout the day, a coach can hop in and out with you to work on things you aren’t getting and will help you get to know the J22 in the chop and shifty winds of the Bay. We will provide comms devices, you should bring your own lifejackets and lunches. We will meet on I-Dock at 11am for a rigging demo and chalk talk and will then head out to the Bay for the afternoon.
