The SDYC Anglers Club is proud to announce the second annual Jr. Anglers Summer Fishing Camp! This year we are offering two weeks of camp! The camp will focus on teaching your child everything they need to know to start on the pathway to becoming successful, responsible and ethical anglers. Each day campers will learn a new skill taught by SDYC Anglers Club volunteers, including fishing etiquette, safety, rod and lure rigging, casting, catch care as well as fish identification, regulations, size limits and respect for species. Campers will then test their new skills by fishing on and around the SDYC docks each day.
Space is limited for 2022, with 12 spaces available from Monday, June 27th through Friday, July 1st and Monday August 8th through Friday August 12th. Space will be reserved on a first come first served basis by emailing Rob Fletcher at rcfletcherjr@gmail.com, and will be open to SDYC members initially. If space doesn’t fill we will open registration to non-SDYC members.
