Pre-SDOCR Clinic for 29ers, Lasers, i420s, Nacra 15s
COACHES: Dane Wilson, Nevin Snow, Giselle Nyenhuis, JJ Fetter, Doug Hart, Chuck Eaton
GOAL: Prepare for the SDOCR regatta which will be held in the ocean off of Point Loma (the “Coronado Roads” sailing area). We will have multiple coaches and will divide teams into training groups based on their skill/experience level.
SAILOR SKILL LEVEL: This clinic is for teams planning to race in the SDOCR (29er Hamlin Series #1).
ENTRY FEE: $125/sailor until August 12th. (SDYC member charge discount of $25). Late entry fee for all of $150/sailor.
SCHEDULE:
Friday: 1PM – 5PM Clinic (optional if your schedule conflicts)
Saturday: 10AM – 6PM Clinic and debrief, pizza included
Sunday: 10AM – 4PM Clinic and debrief, after sailing snacks included
MEALS: Sailors should bring their own lunch, on the water snacks, and water.
VENUE: Coronado Roads (Ocean)
GEAR: Be prepared to be on the water sailing for 4 - 5 hours on the weekend days. Bring appropriate gear, dry bags with extra gear, and plenty of quick, healthy snacks to keep you going!
