SDYC is proud to be putting together a group of volunteers to participate in the San Diego Port Tenants Association Operation Clean Sweep on Saturday morning.
SDYC members are invited to register (to help us determine # of volunteers and get t-shirts for you). Meet at the SDYC Juniors area on Saturday at 8:00 AM. Gloves, trash bags, nets will be provided to help clean debris and trash out of the waters of La Playa and near the yacht club. Will use Junior whalers to scan the waters.
Coffee and donuts and Clean Sweep t-shirts will also be provided.
There is an After Cleanup Party at Cesar Chavez Park if you'd like to attend as well, with Taco Stand, beverages, raffle, photo booth, live DJ and more! Wear your Clean Sweep shirt for admittance.
A prize will be given for the most unique findings at the party.
