Dates: Friday, November 24th - Saturday, November 25th for all fleets.

Sunday programing for ILCA6 and C420 sailors as been cancelled. 

Entry Fee: $100 for all fleets. 

Registration deadline is 11:59pm on Sunday, November 19th

Schedule: 11am - 4pm each day. Early arrival is recommended for unloading trailers and rigging.

  • 11:00am Check-In and rigging
  • 11:15am Chalk talk and safety briefing
  • Launch and races immediately following meeting. 
    • Sailors will have a short break after two races. 
  • After the break, sailors will hold another brief whiteboard meeting and return to the bay for a couple more races. 
  • 3:30pm Debrief

  • Sailors will rotate through several boat handling drill stations with their fleets. These drills are designed so that sailors can replicate them on their own, even without coach led programing.

Fleets: Racers of all skill level in their respective fleets are welcome!

• Sabots: C3 fleet through A fleet
• CFJ (Scholastic Style – Non-Spinnaker): This clinic will be tailored towards middle school and high school aged sailors who plan to or already are participating in high school sailing.
• C420 (Spinnaker & Trapeze): Sailors will be assigned partners and may rotate between boats. 
• ILCA 6 (Laser Radial)

Coaching: SDYC Head Coach Jon Rogers will be the lead clinician. Coaches are provided from all the local SDAYC Junior Programs, giving sailors the opportunity to work with new instructors who may bring added perspective to their sailing.
