If you do not have a slip at the Club and would like to participate in Hospitality, call the Dockmaster at 619-758-6308 or dockmaster@sdyc.org for a temporary slip (limited space, contact early). Submit a short bio to danielle@sdyc.org with boat name, owner's name/s, slip #, and interesting info about your yacht.

Best Dressed Dock Competition

SDYC Yachts shall be “Dressed Ship” for Opening Day. To qualify as such, each Sail Boat should have Nautical Code/Signal Flags the entire length of the fore OR aft stay. Power Boats should have Flags from bow to stern. In addition, all boats shall properly display the Ensign (Flag) of the United States AND the SDYC Burgee. Safety Tip: Don’t wait until the last minute to acquire these flags.

Properly Dressed Yachts on each Dock will be counted at 0900 Sunday morning. The winning Dock(s) and the Reward will be announced during the ceremony as the coveted “Best Dressed Dock”.
