The San Diego SODA (Socal Open Development Acts) match racing program is an entry level "Clinegatta" that will be coached by none other than Dave Perry - match race guru, rules adviser to America's Cup teams, coach for the 2009-2012 USA Olympic Women's Match Racing Team, and multi-year winner of the US Sailing Match Racing championship, Congressional Cup, etc. Dave is awesome and we're lucky to have him.  He's being brought to us by a grant from North U.

Please reach out to your Head Coach for more info about Match Racing (YouTube has great material), and plan ahead and build your teams now! FYI the reason for the date change is so SDYC can host the prestigious "ISAF Nation's Cup Regional Qualifier" in late May, which is a multi-nation qualifier for the ISAF Nations Cup Grand Finale in Russia later this summer. Great stuff happening in Socal sailing all year long - make sure you're a part of it!
