The San Diego Yacht Club’s annual International Masters Regatta officially kicked off today in San Diego Bay. Consistent wind at 8-10 knots, gusting at 15-18 created a beautiful platform for racing in front of the downtown skyline. 

On September 24, I traveled to Annapolis Maryland to Compete in the 2015 U.S. Sailing Team Race Championship for the Hinman Trophy. My team and I, comprised off Boston College sailors and Alumni took the weekend off of collegiate sailing to compete in U.S. championship.

After three days of a scoreboard order that wouldn't budge, Jud Smith finally broke out of 2nd place to win the 2015 Green Flash J/70 North American Championship. 

Victor Wild, owner/skipper of the TP52 Bud, accepted the St. Francis Perpetual Trophy at the 2015 Rolex Big Boat Series while also winning ORR Class A.

This past July, I had the opportunity to compete in the 2015, ISAF Team Racing World Championship held in Rutland, UK.

Roger Williams University in Rhode Island hosted the 2015 U.S Sailing Youth Championship. The regatta is invitation only; therefore, competition is always tough.
