Congratulations to Mark Reynolds on his induction to the US National Sailing Hall of Fame as part of the induction class of 2012.

Over the weekend of August 10-12, twelve SDYC members had the opportunity to represent our club at undoubtedly the most prestigious team race, The Morgan Trophy at New York Yacht Club Harbour Court.

The 2012 Laser North American Championship was held in Cascade Locks Oregon in the infamous Columbia River Gorge.

SDYC's Robb Walker and Rowena Carlson finished in 2nd place in the 2012 Pacific Cup, Doublehanded Fleet, racing from San Francisco to Kanehoe, HI on Nozomi, a Cal 40.

This all girls Laser Radial regatta was close to, if not the best sailing experience I [Molly Pleskus] have encountered thus far in my sailing career. This week brought amazing coaches, close to perfect conditions, and friendships to last a lifetime.

Congratulations to Dennis Conner and the crew of "Fame" who finished First in Class, First to Finish, and First Overall in the 2012 McNish Classic Yacht Regatta.
