This past August I competed in the Detroit Cup Match Race Regatta.  The event ran from August 21st to August 25th.  My team consisted of myself on the helm, Mac Mace on main/tactics, and Taylor Vann on the bow.

Day 1 of Youths saw a steadily increasing sea breeze that began at roughly 1:00 in the afternoon. As we sailed out in hiking conditions, it soon picked up and we were trapezing and nearly overpowered when we arrived to the starting line.

Thank you for assisting my crew Trevor Hecht and I, to be able to compete in the 2013 Youth Championships. It was a great experience, and I look forward to attending this following year.

Kate Sheahan recently sat down with Dr. Arnold Lee, Oracle’s team physician, who is trying to create a safer sailing experience on the water with a better safety protocol management system in the event that there is any on-water incident.

John MacCausland and Phil Trinter steal the Qualcomm 2013 Star World Champion title and add their name to the 92 year old Star Class’ International Trophy. Andrew Campbell and John von Schwarz won their second race of the series today, and finished 2nd overall.
