Over the weekend of June 29-30, Team SDYC competed in St. Francis Yacht Club's Team Race Invitational hosted at StFYC in J/22's.

Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club (AUS) beat the Kiwi's from Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron-Chris Steele (NZ) in the Finals. Team SDYC finished 4th with a strong finish to push into the semifinals.

San Diego Yacht Club hosted the Prince of Wales Area GHJL Qualifier Match Race on the weekend of June 15/16.  The event was sailed in J/22 sailboats with (8) teams entered, including Dan Aeling, Rick Arneson, Bill Pascoe, and Judge Ryan from SDYC.

The 2013 U.S. Jr Womens Singlehanded Champs (USJWSC), hosted by the Beverly Yacht Club in Marion, Mass., kicks off this Wednesday, July 17 for three days of racing on Buzzards Bay featuring top-notch youth sailors from all over the country including SDYC's Molly Pleskus.

June 22 though the 27, my crew (Grace McCarthy) and I (Molly Pleskus) traveled to the 2013 U.S. Junior Women’s Doublehanded Championship for the Ida Lewis Trophy at Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club.

I recently competed in the Kite Course Racing North American Championship, which was held in San Francisco from June 3 - 7 2013.  I was joined by fellow SDYC members Artie Means, Bill Hardesty, Bryan Lake, Cameron Biehl, and Nico Landuaer.
