Congratulations to Carissa Crawford (Crew) and Nevin Snow (Coed) who were selected as ICSA All-Americans for their College Sailing season.

SDYC's Carissa Crawford, along with Deirdre Lambert win the Sperry Top-Sider Women's National Championship representing Dartmouth College.

SDYC-based Point Loma High School Sailing Team defended its title as ISSA Team Race National Champions this past weekend in Davis Island, Florida.

Formed in the 1960s, the SSSS is a vital group of people who love to have fun sailing Sabots.  It started with a group of San Diego Yacht Club women who wanted to learn to sail and skipper their own destinies rather than be second mate.

Jake La Dow and Jake Reynolds were featured on Fox 5 San Diego this week to discuss the upcoming Red Bull Youth America's Cup in which they (along with Nevin Snow) will be competing this Fall.

As we try to piece together the horrific events of Friday night and early Saturday morning, the crew of Uncontrollable Urge wants to express their appreciation for the support of the sailing and land-based communities at this difficult time.
