The PC fleet was, as always, active in 2009. There were a total of 14 "official" races, from which the 2009 PC Championship and other trophies were awarded. 1st place went to the crew of La Cucharacha, #14. She was a winning boat since her first race in 1935 and continues her success all these years later. 2nd place went to our Fleet Captain, Tom Hurtlburt, skippering #31, Skylark. Tom's father owned #18 and introduced Tom to PC sailing. Tom has done well to carry the touch. Third place went to #62, Bruce Sutphen. Congratulations to all skippers and crew for racing a great series and doing so well.
