News Flash: The Lipton Cup Challenge Regatta will be postponed due to a schedule conflict which surfaced in May. The event is now scheduled for the weekend of August 12-14, 2011. Challenge Committee Chair James Sakasegawa is working hard with J/105 Fleet Captain Jon Dekker and Cliff Thompson, chair of the shore-side activities, to redirect planning to the weekend that will assure the greatest number of challengers. It is important that this unique regatta tradition of SDYC be continued.
