Sorry to miss last week's e-mail. VC Hope, Dir. Reiter and I were at St. Francis YC's Tinsley Island outstation looking for Buffalo Beach ideas… Holy Spinnaker-Sheet, that's a nice facility!
Tomorrow night (Saturday) is the Sail 2012 fundraising event to benefit our Junior Program. Swing by and bid on some of the amazing packages Steve Harris and his team have put together. Asa Morton and I will be roaming the crowd making sure everyone is having a good time and stealing your lobster when you aren't looking. This is a big deal, so please come down and join us.
This is also our last free weekend before the J/105's invade our Club for a month's worth of racing and parties. Count them… four biggies. So. Cal Championships, North American Championships, the International Master's Regatta and then the Lipton Cup as our finale. If you aren't racing, please come down for the parties because we are catering these events to our entire membership, not just the racers. Each night will be something different and Jeff Brown and his crew have lots in store.
