Congratulations to Bob Little and the team from California Yacht Club on their narrow victory in the 98th edition of the Lipton Cup. CalYC sailed a very consistent regatta and finished with a 3 point win over 2nd place San Diego Yacht Club. Coronado Yacht Club, the leaders of the regatta for most of the weekend, were unable to finish their final race due to a broken spin halyard and ended up 3rd overall.

Thanks to the support of our wonderful sponsors, the weekend was an all around success as the sponsor logos were prominently displayed on the J/105 spinnakers on the bay all weekend. Race fans were also able to follow along with the action live via the Kattack race trackers, and the competitors could replay the races online to review their performances.
The 99th Lipton Cup is scheduled for November 1-3, 2013.
