Hopefully the rain will blow through quickly today and we can get on with our big plans. I'll be racing with CC Rider in our never-ending duel with the evil caper program on Saturday and I look forward to presenting Director Laun the SECOND place trophy on Sunday. Saturday night will be a blast at the Dinner Dance and there are still a few spots available if you call for a reservation today... tomorrow will be too late. Ed Letzring has all of the weekend's festivities under control and I have no doubt it will be a good one this year... many thanks to Ed and his team.
For those of you who read my Mainsheet column this month... no, we don't have a deal with Buffalo Beach. Being a joker myself, April Fools is my national holiday and I couldn't resist. Besides, even God himself couldn't pull a permit to build a pool on that beach!
No official business to discuss this weekend... it's all about Opening Day and a lot of fun, so I look forward to seeing everyone at the Club this weekend.
