Congratulations to SDYC's Scott Sinks on his decisive victory at the Junior Snipe Nationals sailed out of Mission Bay Yacht Club. Sinks sailed with crew Greer Wattson, and won the first 4 races of the 5 race series. SDYC skippers Jack Joslin, Jesse McKnight and Matt Cappetta also finished 3rd, 4th and 5th.
Last week, my crew comprised of Johannes McElvain and Andy Reiter and I traveled to Balboa Yacht Club to race in the 49th annual Governor's Cup regatta.
After a long hiatus due to boring health issues and travel… I am back in the game. As usual we have seen some changes on PC Row. PC #16, DAWN, again won the trophy for “Best Maintained PC” at the SDYC Opening Day Ceremony. Next year I expect to see #’s 70 AND 43 sailing up to the line, so there will be some great boats to see in the running.
