Ida Lewis Doublehanded Championship Recap

This years Ida Lewis regatta was characterized by a lot fun, great sailing, and some learning experiences. Hosted by Columbia sailing center in South Carolina, the regatta was sailed on Lake Murray with great wind all three racing days.

Team SDYC at the Rose Cup Match Race Championship

On June 17 Storm Brown, Andy Reiter and I [Scott Sinks] teamed up to race in Newport Beach for the Rose Cup. The Rose Cup is a match race championship sailed in Governor 21 boats.


Buffalo Beach Pier Construction

Construction has started on the new pier at Whites Landing. The goal is to have the pier finished by the end of August. The barge arrived on Monday, June 15th and a construction zone has been established on either side of the old pier. The beach directly in front of Buffalo Beach is available for us to use. It might be a little noisy around camp for the next few months, but having a new pier at Buffalo Beach is going to be fantastic!
