Though club webmaster Jared has been working on our newly formatted PC web site for months, we are now at a point where I can get back into writing and contributing and editing as a routine. The new format will make it much easier to write and edit. I have submitted a group of CD’s with PC photos on them, to be added to the club “library of photos” for preservation and use in future years and site editors. Jared and I are going to try hard to make sure that we give credit to photographers for photos. As you all know, over the years, friends of the fleet like Bobby Greiser, Stu Hartley, Carol McKnight and others have generously shared many of their photos with us. I appreciate the fact that they allow me to use them on the website. My thanks to them and, again, we will try hard to credit them when any of their photos are used. Any reader who wishes to discuss this and/or feels that changes need to be made, please contact me.
As you know, the 79th PC Nationals are scheduled for September. Arrangements are already being made for the BBQ and deck trophy award party. Friend George Lindley (#14) is calling fleet members who are interested in buying a special “PC National’s T Shirt”. If he missed you, please call him.
I have recently received an increased number of calls from people who are interested in buying a PC. I have passed on information as best as I could. We may well see #50 come back from the East Coast and join the San Diego Bay fleet! Those who are interested in selling your boat or are looking for a partner, please let me know and include some details so I can put them in the “Stuff for Sale” section of the web site.
