Congratulations to Bob Little and the team from California Yacht Club on their narrow victory in the 98th edition of the Lipton Cup.

In early October, The Royal Vancouver Yacht Club (RVYC) hosted the 2012 RVYC Match Race Invitational with ten teams representing four countries (Canada, United States, Australia and Denmark).

If you can't get out to San Diego Bay this Friday - Sunday, you can still watch the Lipton Cup action... online! Each skipper is assigned to a Kattack Race Tracker which they will take from boat to boat during the rotations after each race.

The third event in the J/105 Fall Series 2012 was the International Masters Regatta held at SDYC November 2 - 4, 2012. The prestigious regatta was established in 1979 at St. Francis Yacht Club by Don Trask in honor of his father.

October was a busy month for sailboat racing in San Diego. While the rest of the country slowly slips into Fall, we were out racing.

On October 20-21, 2012, SDYC won the prestigious Linda Elias Memorial Women’s One Design Championship run by the Long Beach Yacht Club and the Long Beach Sailing Foundation.
