In an effort to increase racing participation, Fleet Captain Tom Hurburt and his board elected to change the racing rules for 2010. You will note that the scoring tally will be somewhat different.
The PC fleet was, as always, active in 2009. There were a total of 14 "official" races, from which the 2009 PC Championship and other trophies were awarded.

Welcome to the New Year!! It has been another teriffic year for th PC Fleet. In addition to a wonderful Holiday party hosted by the crew of #14, La Cucharacha, we had a wonderful sailing season.
The 2009 PC Nationals is over and was a fantastic race series thanks to Fleet Captain Tom Hurlburt (#31 Skylark). I also wish to thank the SDYC for their help and, of course, Mike and Marilyn Foster and their terrific Race Committee.
Robbie Childs, son of A. E. Childs, #3 TIANA..who raced in the 1934 PC/S Class Hawaii regatta, was kind enough (with the aid of his brother) to send me a short but detailed account of his father's, (A. E. Childs) biography.
