By | March 31, 2014

Opening Day Just Around the Corner

By | March 28, 2014

SDYC's Opening Day celebration is so jammed with fun, ceremony, celebration and parties, it consumes two days – April 12th and 13th. Coronado Race

The PC fleet sailed the annual Coronado YC race. It was a cloudy day with light air when 5 boats took off from the SDYC. After a stop for lunch at the CYC... they took off back home again. #11 had a bit of a problem when she lost her whisker pole and had to go back for it... Steve and Maddie Brownsea cleaned up winning both the "to" and "from" race.

Vallarta Race Record Smashed

By | March 21, 2014

Here we are in beautiful Puerto Vallarta at the finish of the 2014 San Diego to PV Race. The breeze lightened up coming across the Gulf from Cabo to the mainland… compressing the fleet, but it wasn’t enough to slow down the trimarans.
