The first race of 2005 brought 4 PC’s to the line and all did very well in their class, garnering the first 4 places! Congratulations go to #14 (La Cucharacha), #18 (Minx), #21 (Onion Truck) and #54 (Twilight), in that order.
We thank SDYC Commodore Mike Fink and 2005 Commodore Jim Jessop (and their respective spouses) for attending. The PC is again, honored, that you both attended. We also enjoyed seeing members of the race committee.
Last week, Fleet member Bob Kyle treated AMSS members to an interesting talk about Mystic Seaport. His talk included some great slides. Again, I encourage you all to participate and become members of the AMSS.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the PC Fleet. I remember that #1, SCAMP, was so popular that a total of 9 boats were completed by 1932. The Kettenburg PC Trophy was won by Charles and Wally Springstead.
We are still preparing for the 14th Annual Wooden Boat Festival to be held on June 19th and 20th. I hope to see you all there. It promises to be another great show. I will give full report of the June 27th “Lady Skipper Race”, next month.
