Eight boats limped out to start the first race. As we have seen many times before, the winds (on this BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY) grew into near gale force making the second race and entry back into the club a terrific event enjoyed by all.
Don’t forget that March 7th will bring the “Fun Race” (read NO spinnakers) to the Coronado YC for their killer burgers and a beer if you want. This is always a fun event with a lot of boats participating. Please join us, even if you just sail down with the fleet and don’t stay for lunch.
The One Designs were held on November 3rd and we had a good turn out. The results were: #14, 66, 9, 62, 21, 44 and 54. It is good to see #14 back in great form after recent difficult years.
The One Designs, in September, saw 7 PC’s at the line and they experienced the usual good time. #44 did well, as did #21. The winds were 9-12 K and we had two races windward/leeward with the last race to the dock.

The PC Fleet has had a great month, with several boats getting out and enjoying the last of our summer weather. The BIG news is that the August “Around the Coronados” race was attended by 5 boats.
