On the weekend of May 12th - 13th Team SDYC made the trip up the coast to compete in a two-day team race invitational hosted by St. Francis Yacht Club.
On May 19th Red Bull announced they would be sponsoring the first ever Youth America's Cup. San Diego Yacht Club's own, Judge Ryan, quickly jumped at this opportunity and began to assemble a team.
Tomorrow is Founders' Day… our Birthday at SDYC and yes, we're having a party to celebrate. The big BLUE burgee will be flying from our newly-painted flagpole (thanks Keith Palmateer!) and I would encourage all of you to come down and spend the day on your boat or around the Club.
